I’m Mud Wandawi, a visual artist based in Amsterdam and an autodidact painter. I work across oil, acrylic, pastel and drawing, continually exploring different mediums, techniques and ways of seeing. My background in graphic and web design has also shaped my visual approach, bringing traditional artistic techniques into dialogue with contemporary visual aesthetics.

My work is inspired by Amsterdam, travel, world events and everyday experiences. I use painting and drawing to explore impressions, emotions and fleeting moments, translating what I observe, remember or imagine into colourful, expressive and dynamic compositions.
